What i've noticed is that you only really notice a dress is Ivory when it's placed to a true white wedding dress. On the day of your wedding, no one's going to notice that it's ivory and not white. Ivory comes really close to white and it'll look beautiful. When I tried my dress on for the first time (after I ordered it) it looked so beautiful and I asked the sales rep if she was sure she got me the dress in Ivory. Then she compared the dress and placed it next to a real white dress and only then did I notice the color difference.

I say go with the Ivory....

Im a first time bride and my dress is ivory/borderline cream white. I think it has more to do with complexion cause some people think a white white dress washes them out.

You can wear any color you want it's your wedding!

i don't think stark white would look great on me because I am olive toned...so ivory is a nice compromise. I do love the champagne and gold tone bridal gowns that are coming out.
