Sept. 08 Brides: What have u done so far?
Just curious to see what things people have finished so far. I can never figure out if I'm ahead or behind schedule.
Here's the major things I've done:
RH
DJ
Photographer (2 appts)
Invites ordered
STD's mailed
Honeymoon booked
Invite list--mostly done
Bought my dress
Blocked rooms @ hotel
Still to do:
Rings
Flowers
Limos
Priest
Bridesmaids dresses
I think I'm going 2 take a break w/ all the planning until after the holidays once I book by photographer. Things get too crazy this time of year.

I don't even want to begin to list what needs to be done.  Just not really in the mood lately.

I keep forgetting about certain things that I have to do....like make-up and hair. It's hard to be motivated to do wedding stuff during the week when u work----then on the weekends, u just want to relax!

Well, I'm August 08 and when I ordered my dress last night, they said to order the BM dresses by January...so that's prob the next thing you should do too.

Don't get depressed. Start researching vendors and calling and making appointments so you can start booking. Most girls start with photographers and band / dj

I haven't done much. I only have the hall booked, the photographer and dj. I went dress shopping but haven't picked one yet.
We still have 10 months so I'm not worried that I'm behind. After the holidays I'll start getting in gear. Losing my job and being unemployed doesn't help matter right now.

Sorry to hear about the job situation. The reason I am so far behind is fiances as well. Its making me nervous. I am sure we will get through all of this. I know that we are paycheck to paycheck right now with no money to put away. Hopefully it will get better.
