Anybody know any dog-friendly apartment complexes? in Nassau?
We wanted to start looking for apartments, but we have a small dog and we wanted ones in Nassau. But also, not too pricey. Anybody know of any?

When we moved in to our complex we were told no dogs by the super not the management company and soooo many people in my building have dogs! including my neighbor. Im in Lynbrook if interested in that area.

Can you FM me where in Lynbrook. FH and I will be looking for apartments in March/April and Lynbrook is one of our areas.

You might have better luck looking at private homes with an upstairs apartment, etc. I would imagine they might be more apt to allow dogs, especially if you find an absentee landlord. Look on Craigslist and also post on Craigslist saying what you are looking for.

Apartments.com is good. I think there's an option on there for pets and they usually give you ads for Newsday as well.
My BIL's sister lives in the Baldwin area (I think), she's got a whole zoo of pets I'll see if I can dig up the name of her building.

Good luck FH and i went through the same thing, look on craig's list we found our apartment on there in the area we wanted for the price we wanted to pay, it took a while though we even went through the real estate and they couldnt really find much for us in the areas we needed to be in, GOOD LUCK

My friend is in an apartment complex in Babylon that allows dogs. . . its a gorgeous complex, right on the canal. She has a huge one bedroom and I think pays around $1500 per month. . . its suffolk, but its western suffolk. If you're interested I'll find out the name of the Complex. . .
