Price Quotes 2010

Hiya girls, I was busy today lol. Got the price quotes from the following places


NRC: Sunday afternoon, 80.00, sunday evening 100 per person, 150 person minimum, ceremony 1000, Venetian hour 5 per person (down from 10 per person), Maitre D' 3-5 per person

House vendors free meals, other vendors 1/2 price


CLM: 65 per person Sunday evening, 300 Maitre D' fee, ceremony $500, In house vendors free, outside 1/2, didnt put down a minimum

Venetian 15pp extra, chocolate fountains 750


The Riviera: 57 per person Sunday evening, 100 person Minimum. ceremony 500


Westbury Manor: 650 for the ceremony, Friday evening, 73 per person, Saturday afternoon and sunday afternoon 63 per person (warning, they dont do ceremonies on Sunday evenings) Viennese 15 pp, 80 person guarantee for the room I was looking at.

(also, fyi, when I was with the BM in her office, they brought me Iced Tea and a Chocolate Fondue platter that was very very tasty, and very appreciated. )


Fox Hollow (told you I was busy): 110 minimum, winter pavilion room, 59 per person sunday afternoon, 65 per person Sunday evening, 750 for the chapel.

Fox hollow doesnt have the prices yet for peak months for 2010 yet, unfortunately.

the quote for CLM seems weird to me...I got a quote of $52 pp for the sunday evening after you...I dunno whats going on with that one....
Any other places you've gotten quotes for so far or just these?

A while ago they told me 73 per person for Leonards, and I spoke to Swan Club today and they said 60's, no def price as it was over the phone.

Hmm, It may be because its MLK day weekend, which could impact the price because of the holidays. The Chocolate fountain was an additional charge, and I have heard of some girls who get it thrown in for winter weddings.

I want to check JT, CHCC, Watermill, Bridgeview Yacht Club, and a couple of other places still, but we like FH so far

Let me know if you get any more quotes for different places and I will do the same...Im going to be starting to really look and go to places soon so I will let you know.
From prev experience CHCC does beautiful parties...I had a wedding, Sweet 16 and my high school prom there, and every event was better than the last. They seem to do everything right!!
Also the Watermill is very nice as well. The upstairs room was a very nice room, the downstairs room I remember feeling closed in down there (if I remember correctly there were low ceilings). The grounds are very nice there as well.

Went to Jericho Terrace Yesterday, and got the following quote for the Oak Room

Sunday January 17, 2010, ceremony at 4:30, Reception 5-10
100 person minimum, 60pp, 20% service, and tax, around 73.22 per person after all is said and done. 400 for the use of the chapel.

One thing I really liked is if you are a winter bride and there is inclimate weather, they said they would reschedule for a mutualy agreeable date (just hope the other vendors agree as well) and they provide a bridal consultant on the premises who help with booking everything.

I still want to check out Watermill, Bridgeview Yacht Club, Harbor Club, Crest Hollow CC, Stewart Manor CC, and probably a few places I cant think of right now.

Updates YET AGAIN!!


Went to two more halls today, and got the following quotes.

Chateau Briand: Sunday, ceremony at 2:30, reception 3-8. 125 person minimum for the Saturnia room. Price of 60 per person, 20% gratuity and tax. You get two bridal attendants, full open bar, and sushi is one of the included options, NOT AN EXTRA (plus for FH). Plus, if you book a sunday wedding, you get a free Bridal suite at Fox Hollow Inn, and if your OOT guests stay at Fox Hollow Inn, there is a complimentary shuttle service. The chapel is 750, and it includes decorations. They provide centerpieces for the cocktail hour. Chair covers are available to rent. Very Art Deco, looks almost like a 1920's ship inside.

Verdis of Westbury
Didnt get to see much, but was told $65 per person for a sunday evening in January, choice of 4 entree's, chapel I believe he said 300, but no decorations unless you use your CPs as decorations. Chair covers are available to rent

Busy beaver me, 2 more quotes today

Douglaston Manor: 16k for 100 guests, includes everything. Very nice, very Mediterranean feel, it used to be a home and it is beautiful. There are 2 rooms, the glass room holds up to 140, the other up to 250. If you go over 100 people it is 89 per person plus gratuity and tax.


Stewart Manor: one wedding at a time, the guy Sam I met with was adorable. It was decorated for a halloween party, complete with coffin in the main room lol. They quoted 57 per person

Both of these are for a sunday in january =)

Wow you are insanely busy doing this!! Half of the places I was thinking about I got all my info from you
I called the Coral House over the phone (I had my sweet 16 there so I am already familar with the setting...) For the Sunday before you I got quoted :
$59 a head
$1 pp for Maitre D fee's
18% sales tax (or whatever you call it)
150 minimum for the Americana room (the grand ballroom of the place) with adjacent Presidental room and Presidential Bridal suite. Room accomodates up to $300

They stay decorated for the holidays thoughout January (if I recall correctly). There are HUGE windows over looking the lake outside and there are bronze chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. They also offer a winter wonderland package that I forgot to ask about!!!

I got some quotes as well...All for Saturday nights in January.

For CHCC: $108 with 125 person guarantee

Fox Hollow: $73pp plus tax, and tip. But they included chair covers, a night at the inn, and ice sculptures. (We prob would have booked here but I didnt like the Briar Fox room) The guarantee was 125.

Floral Terrace: $115pp this includes chair covers, mini venesse hour was included, but not much else. (The room was beautiful, but I hated the cocktail room, and I didnt like that it was on a corner)

Russos on the bay- very expensive wanted a guarantee of 200 and wouldnt budge!!! But I got a price of like $105 plus tax, 20% tip, and $3 per head md fee.

Chateau Briand <3 (I love this place) we got it for $90pp (this includes tax and tip) Plus there was a HUGE list of extras that we got. I still dont think I can find something wrong with this place. I love it!!

I never had ice sculptures mentioned either, or chair covers. I tried to ask about stuff to throw in, but it wasn't really received well. they gave a "concession" of if we use the house florist we get 10 off the price, but apparently, ANYONE who books there gets 10 off the price lol

you gotta love how the RH tries to get everylast dime out of you and they give you nothing in return for it....or they make it sound like they are giving you something to make you happy and then they end up doing it for everybody anyway...

being that i'm going to visit a lot of these places soon i guess i should brush up on my negotiating skills! haha!!

Were there any halls that you had experiences with that you felt were more flexible than others?

Also, does anyone have any price quotes for 2010 other than Jan?

I would have to say that I asked every bm that I met with for extras thrown in and they were willing to give it to me. Also I would say to them that the quote they gave me was too high and I really liked it there and most of the time the price was reduced!
