Another Vendor Rave for Tom Varghese! (travel agent)

I was so happy with him, he really came through for us...we're going to Puerto Rico! I knew FH and I weren't going to have passports by January, so we knew that a cruise or the Caribbean were out, plus we had a pretty small budget. I figured that a good travel agent would be able to find us something fun to do in the US somewhere.

I called one travel agent (a recommendation) whose tone completely changed when she heard my budget and my passport situation. She became extremely condescending, mentioned only Puerto Rico and St. Thomas as options (hello, there's an entire United States to find something in...Florida maybe?) and her quote for Puerto Rico was way out of my budget.

I heard great things about Tom on LIW and decided to call him. He was great! He found out what we were interested in and made it happen. I'm so excited about Puerto Rico because I assumed with our budget we wouldn't be able to do anything like that. He was always easy to get in touch with, explained anything we needed explained and did not have a "salesman" type attitude. I researched a couple of people who used him and have already gone on their honeymoon and they had good things to say about him, too, so that put me even more at ease.
