Fun thread!!!
here is my grandma in the dress, and me in the dress. I don't know if anyone originally modeled it in the 40's. The woman who updated it for me said she thinks it was hand sewn and because my grandma had gotten it in a tiny botique- it is possible it was even one of a kind back then!
And- I meant to have my photogropher take a photo of me standing alone recreating this one of my grandma, and with the hecticness of not having access to where we planned to do photos, I completly forgot. So I dont really have a bridal portrait.

awwww Gina, that is such an amazing story. You look just like your grandmother. Love the dress, its so beautiful and you looked stunning in it.
Your story makes me think maybe i should keep my dress. I know my daughters probably wont wear it, but I always wished i could've seen my moms dress and your dressing up as kid in the dress story is sweet. Plus im one of those ppl that never throw things out, i keep the stupidest things sometimes just for memories so it will be hard to get rid of something so important.
