Just to reiterate, we are not being critical, well at least I am not. I did not insult their looks, style of dress, etc, because everyone's taste is different, but what I will say is that the SI couple behaved in poor taste.

You DONOT tell people to give you money for your wedding and proceed to count it in plain view. Their actions showed lack of home training, manners,etc.

One should maintain a sense of decorum.

ok I am with the majority on this one... the SI couple made me SICK!! and if that girls lips are real, that is a MAJOR coincidence since everything else was fake... all my FH kept saying was "gross!"... we are not judgemental people but when you put yourself out there like that.... you're setting yourself up for it... it was a disgrace to NY'ers and for those of us who have no money to spend on a wedding and are doing things the best we can, we should have been represented along with those sad couples...

I never once said anything about the way she looked. In fact I did think she looked very nice on the day of her wedding. But I agree with Thrilled 100% they knew they were on TV & they CHOSE to act this way!

Ronnie&Teresa-I understand that you know her but if you watch the whole thing maybe you will see what we mean! She might not be the way she projected herself on tv.

My SIL's cousin married the moron that was on mtv years ago (he was w/ his brother talking about what players they are) We were shocked when we saw him at their wedding!! And beleive me when her family saw the show they were horrified

Ok, the SI couple were annoying, but I did like her dress. However, she says she was 25 or so but what she's done to her skin with that tanning - she looks like she's 35. Makes me never want to go near the sun again. I bet she would have looked prettier had she not ruined her skin.

I finally saw it and here's my opinions:

Staten Island
I found their behavior to be completely appalling, especially the way he talked to the limo guy and the way they argued with each other on national TV.
I didn't see anything wrong with her lips, or her implants or her tan. Not too big on the dark liner, light lips look, but I thought she had really nice lips. The kind that people pay for and she's blessed to have them naturally. I think that she made a stunning bride and I'd KILL to have a body like that on my wedding day. I thought her body was unbelievable, implants and all.
I have nothing against implants.
And I think trashing a bride for having fake boobs or fake lips or whatnot would be equally as mean as saying that someone looks terrible because they're overweight. But saying THAT is so politically incoprrect that no one would dare to. There are some things that you can't build up no matter how hard you work out, diet or go to the gym. That's what plastic surgeons are for. If you have to pay to make yourself more perfect, I'm all for it and I'm not one to judge anyone who thinks otherwise.

She made me laugh. I was crying over her changing the cake because she had a nightmare about it. I think she's a princess in general, but I don't think that her changing her cake was a "princess" moment as much as it was just your standard "crazed bridezilla" moment and I'm sure that we can ALL relate to doing something that others consider COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL all for the sake of making our weddings perfect.
It's all relative. To some it's spending $800 on chairs that look better and to others a $3000 cake. Who's to say?

Gay couple:
Loved them. Only gay guys could pull off a fashion runway bridal party entrance and get away with it.

Saw it last night and all I can say is that if I were the couple from Staten Island I would have been embarrassed for myself. And if my DH ever spoke to me like that he would be out on his @&* so fast!

Everyone is merely stating their opinions.

IMO they set themselves up for this.

They acted as if they were raised in a barn.

Decorum and class are things they know nothing about.

My FH and I argue, sometimes alot but we would not act the way they did in public/private etc.

It was just a disgrace to watch them.

I don't think many people will look that great after having a baby..

and if you think her lips are FAKE fine but since I have known her since 5th grade I can tell you they are not..

The cursing and the violence is not RIGHT, and they are way out of control..

BUT don't judge on looks bc I know not one person on here wants to be judged!

It was not so much the way she looked that bothered me. hell I would kill to be that thin and I don't think anyone here is saying they are perfect. But they were disrespecting each other on national TV and he was telling the limo drive that he would hunt him down and cut him up. If I were her I would be horrified that my new husband talks to people and me in that way.

They put themselves out there. And everyone has an opinion. And I am sure there are people who don't think other girls looked good in their pics but they choose not to reply to that post. And that is fine. If this girls was here reading the board all this time I am sure nobody would have said anything bad to her. But she was on TV.....so she could be anyone. Therfore people feel comfortable voicing their opinions.

When you decide to put your "day" on TV you are left out there..

BUT.. Stop with all the nasty remarks about her lips and body ..

She is happy the way she is.. So who is anyone to judge her.

Charlie is all talk bc when the limo driver arrived he did nothing..

and if anyone would ever speak to me like that they would be CRACKED in the face..

When you put yourself on national television, you are opening yourself up to be criticized, abused and judged.. end of story....

You should be the last person to tell anyone whether or not to not make comments on someone's body parts, etc.

edited to say: My intentions aren't to start an argument but just to say, Who gives a crap! alot of people ask me if I've had my lips done, which I haven't, and I don't hate on them, instead I'm flattered at the fact that someone thinks that something about me looks good enough to have been altered to look perfect....got me?
