Traditional, contemporary, modern, etc.?
DH and I are both very traditional when it comes to decor so it works out well.

ultra modern..... mainly silver / black / grey / white with bright red accents.....
currently it's mainly IKEA, but we've been adding some genuine italian stuff... most accessories (vases, serving dishes, flatware) are from the MoMA shop.
Our next project will likely be a new dining set. We're thinking these chairs with this (extendable) table....

same here and DH is more of a Restoration Hardware/ old fashioned look.
My furniture is classic/Country French - i had no idea that was my style until my MIL told me!!!

Definitly European! even though our condo is more on the modern side right now.
My favortie interior/exterior designer is Perla Lichi, shes based in South Florida and has done alot of my parents friends condos in Sunny Isles. Hopefully one day we can use her too. Some of her work:

I agree...I would put granite everywhere if it were up to me lol I'm in a rented apartment right now so we can't change anything, but hopefully we'll have a house soon so we can decorate how we want.
