october brides help!! im the worse bride on earth!!

so the wedding is little over a month away and ive been sticking to my to-do list but almost everything but seating chart is crossed off and i still feel like im missing a ton of stuff!!! what are the rest of you october brides up to on your lists?!

I'm starting the menu's this week and working on my table numbers. I still need to get my shoes! I have my escort cards and a crystal tree - these are all DIY projects... but other than that i'm done. Lots of DIY's

you cannot steal my title of worst bride ever... i just sent out my invites and have three sitting ontop of our computer with no addresses. No veil, no favors, no menus, no wedding program, no bm gifts/shoes/jewelry, no tuxes.... consider yourself in a verrry comfy position.

August - Create photo montage
August - Welcome kits (order everything & put together)
August - Decide on all special songs for wedding, reception, and montage (Moved to August)
August - Finalize music
August - Pick cake
August - Start seating chart (wchecklist.com)
August/September - BUY FURNITURE FOR OUR NEW APARTMENT!!! ALSO PAINTING ETC.

September - Meet with DJ at RH (he rescheduled)
September - Finalize music with church organist
September - Print and assemble programs
September - 2nd dress fitting
September - FG custom dress to be finished by seamstress and alterations for mom, grandma
September - Buy FH's wedding gifts (already picked out)
September - Dance lessons
September - Final meeting with photog - must take pics etc
September - Bachelorette Party in Vegas!
September - Order groom's cake for RD (w/ picture or monogram?)
September - Put together edible favors

October - Final Payments to all vendors
October - Final headcount to RH
October - Drop off all RH items

- Petal Cones - Designed; must print, cut, and assemble
- Menus - Designed; must have them printed and trimmed
- Favor Tags - printed & trimmed; need to be applied to boxes
- Favors - boxes ordered and received, need to cut ribbons and glue to boxes
- Water Bottles - labels designed and printed; need to apply to bottles
- Table Numbers - finalized and printed; need to decide on layout
- Place Cards - moo cards ordered and received; need to make tent cards and names and assemble
- Unity Candle - DONE!
- Memorial Candle - designed, need to print and apply
- Photo Guest Book -purchased Book, must design pages and cut all paper etc
- Emergency Kit (DOC does this)
- Day Of Timelines for programs and BP - designed, must print

i envy your organization... while i started off super organized we now have a "wedding pile" of papers and receipts and other crap on what used to be our coffee table.

Still have to buy the wine favors, order the labels.
I am going to try to make the almond favors myself.
Need to order menus, table numbers and place cards.
Need to buy gifts for BP.
Need to buy cake topper.
Need to reconfirm with all my vendors - just found out that my videographer is moving to Vegas IN TWO WEEKS ! Have to wait until Tuesday to call him and find out who's shooting my wedding.
When all RSVP's are in, need to start on the seating chart.

Already ; set the menu with maitre'd, had my first dress fitting (yay it fits almost perfectly !) got our marriage license, met with the florist to approve of CP's and set the rest of the flowers.

Oh, still need to decide on hairstyle. Might book another trial for an updo this time.

54 days to go !
49 days until my b-day and I turn 41.

oo i am in the saaammmee boat...not to mention everyone I see says "it will be here before you know it" adn all I want to do is cry!
no hair/DOJ
no shoes
no bridal party gifts so instead of making myself crazy we are going to pay for the guys tuxedos and the girls makeup for the day of
need a unity candle
need a garter
need somehting old
need programs to design/make
scrools for our donation favors
need to do petal cones...as you can see I am awful with the computer so this is why all the DIY is still incomplete!
omg...so much more but I already am overwhelming myself!
BUT one thing I DID COMPLETE is the final and extremely long paper/thesis to hand in to complete my masters!!!! one burden -off my shoulders!

I've done pretty much everything.

In the last month I took care of:
-engagement photos
-worked out music choices w/ band
-chose cake
-chose menu
-made/printed/framed ketubah
-finalized our officiant (this was complicated for us)
-chose and purchased favors
-sent out invitations and started making an rsvp list
-various purchasing of odds and ends
-harassing the men to get measured for their tuxes
-dress fittings for me and moms
-hair trial
-make up trial
-limos
-various day of appointments
-hotel for wedding night

still to do:
-call up missing rsvps (our rsvp date was yesterday and we haven't heard from like 80 people still, I'm waiting a few days and then I'm calling)
-seating chart (and when that's done, table cards)
-finish putting together favors
-finalize limos
-finalize music w/ bandleader
-final dress fittings

that's really it... I've touched base with my major vendors (video, photo, band, hall, etc) and they're all either settled or have told me they'll call me closer to the wedding to finalize details, so I'm just waiting for the last of the rsvps and making my seating arrangement, and then making sure everybody has clothes and transportation, and that's really it. Not much left!
-make sure all loose ends are tied up

I am with you!!! Looking at everyone's lists makes me feel like I still have so much to do and only 32 days to go!!!!

Here is my to-do list:

1. Follow up on missing RSVPs after 9/13.
2. Do table arrangements.
3. Make out of town baskets for guests staying in hotel.
4. Meet with band to go over music selections (still need to set up meeting - have been chasing this guy!).
5. Meet with florist for final CP (meeting set up).
6. Meet with caterer to pick out menu (meeting set up).
7. 2nd hair trial scheduled.
8. Final fitting for dress scheduled.
9. Finalize details for honeymoon.

Ugggh! I bet I am missing a million things.
