I need vendor information (cost and availability)

Hello!

I am new to the board and have not done any planning for my
May 3, 2003 afternoon wedding. I am an out-of-town bride
from Washington, D.C. and I am only planning to make one or two trips to NY to plan the wedding.

Thus far, I have only booked a location and a minister.
I am getting married at Floral Terrace. I need to book all of my
vendors(Photographer, DJ, Videographer, Hotel, Rehearsal Dinner
Location, and Ceremony music) asap. I am looking for any reasonably
cost vendors. Cost is a factor in my decision so if you might still
be available please let me know your services and your prices asap.

I am planning to make a trip to NY in 2-3 weeks to book my vendors.

you can check out the websites of all the vendors under "Wedding Services" on this site.

If you fill out the form, we'll send you lots of info and you can narrow down your choices.

Most vendors have websites which will enable you to narrow down your choices... once you have done that, you can set up various meetings with various vendors. Regarding photography, most photographers characterize themselves as working in a photojournalistic or traditional style, or a combination of the two. Most photojournalists "document" the wedding from beginning to end without involving themselves in the course of events. Many traditional photographers collaborate with the bride, groom, and wedding party to make directed, but natural-looking, photos.
Those working in both styles have found a nice balance between capturing the real-life moments and making beautiful, sensitive portraits that will last a lifetime.
