In all different colors, for you two to share
The white ones burn first
They are wrapped in white lace
To celebrate your first married night

The green pair is taller, and also much thinner
Burn with the first company you have over for dinner
The dark blue candles are for after your first fight
Use them to burn while making up all night

at the shower i threw for my aunt this past march, one of her fsil did the wine basket and did the poem with each bottle for an occasion, the other fsil did the candle basket that also has a poem, very symbolic, i will look for it for you~brb...

I dont know if there will be time for this, but I had to add it....

A friend of ours (thanks trey) got us this for our engagement party. It was one of my most absolute favorite gift hands down. I cannot wait until we have our own place and we put our wedding picture in it. She got us the black with white writing and it's gorgeous!!!!

Wedding Night- (white tulle)

The night you have dreamed of is finally here.
The future surrounds you with hope and yet fear.
You’ve wanted so long to find your mate.
Sip this wine and toast this date.
The night is meant for you to share.
Enjoy each other a perfect pair.


First Dinner party- (gold tulle)

As you open your home to all of your friends to entertain and eat.
It’s a place for old friends to catch up and new ones to meet.
When the night is over two great hosts can share this bottle of wine.
But don’t sit down yet pull up your sleeves because now it’s clean up time.

First fight- (black tulle)

When fights occur as they sometimes will and tempers are steaming hot.
Pour a glass take a sip and be thankful for what you’ve got.
For in a marriage if everyone agreed it would certainly be a bore.
And by asking for my friends hand Jordan’s surely in for more!

I usually give a holiday basket/box with everything from New years to christmas and all the holidays in between.....always a big hit.....

for friends I am close with I will put a bunch of stuff together with the following sayings...

Here's a little something to help you stick together-attach to scotch/duct/masking tape

Here's a little something to help with your mistakes...attach to an eraser

Here's a little something to help with get the honeymoon started...attach to box of condoms

Here's a little something to help you remember what happened on the honeymoon/wedding night....attach to a pregnancy test

Here's a little something to help put the spark back into things.....attach to a box of matches

Here;s a little, well here's something for when things get comfortable.....I attach to a really cheap OVERSZED pair of undies from walmart etc


There are so many things you can add, change substitute for this......again always a big hit
