Congrats ladies....I was 2 months from yesterday!
I still am in the process of getting out my invites! We were a little late b/c of everything that happened w/ my Grandfather. But 90% of the people who are invited know what happened, and are totally aware.....

Yes, it's almost here. Our invites went out last week and we have already started getting responses. Just trying to think what little details need to be done now-like how to wrap our favors, wedding party gifts, etc.
Just can't wait to be married!!

Hello All,
About 50 - 60 invitations were mailed on July 31st.
Only received 16 responses so far (14 yes and 2 no).
Mostly small stuff left - favors, picture frames for people's table numbers, etc.
Trying to figure out what to get for my MOH.

This may sound like an odd question.....
There will be 4 children at the reception (nieces and nephews). I was thinking about getting cookies for them as favors...the ones that are completely iced...like a smiley face or an airplane or a truck or a fire engine or a flower, etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can purchase them (Nassau County preferably)?

I've had 2 gowns come in (stupid David's Bridal ordered the wrong size)
The correct size came in last week.

I got my gown at David's - it came in awhile ago - they may be faster becuase they rotate so much stock.

When we picked the date, my FH said "Are you sure that you're OK with getting married on the 13th?" I said "Yes..I was born on the 13th".
He smiled and said that he will remember our anniversary...it is exactly one month before my birthday.
