NWR: Meteor shower tonight!!!
I am a space freak so i figured id share!!!
If you are out or awake between 11pm tongiht and 4AM tomorrow look up for a bit...we can be seeing 100 or so shooting stars per hour!! :)

I watched one upstate one year when I was in college. We woke up at 2 and drove to the middle of nowhere (2 minute drive from campus). It was the coolest thing ever....I'll definetly have to look tonight. Hopefully I can see from my backyard!

u will be able to see a good ammount from your yard thats where i watch mine all the time!! it works!! as long as there arent alot of bright lights around

Last summer there was one too, I was with friends in Jamesport & we all slept under the stars (on aero beds) to watch it. That is def. in my Top 10 life experiences

You could see a bit last night as well. It started around 12 but the shooting stars were few and far between. When I woke up again at 3am, I npoked my head up and there was much more going on! They say you might even see more tomorrow night too!

I actually went out last night to Robert Moses park to watch...I saw some, but not too many, sadly enough. It's so hit and miss with these things, but it was still fun to be out late and see the beautiful night sky!

1am is the peak! you can see around 100 per hour in dark conditions. last year we saw alot. I love astronomy! i have all these things marked on my calender. every month when there is a meteor shower i sit in the yard. even in november for the other big one i bundle up inlayers and sit in the yard it is soooooooo cool

I thought it was supposed to rain tonight 
We caught it last year and saw a few but it's probably too bright where I live so not sure if i'd be able to see anything.

saw a few tiny ones and 2 HUGE ones. we came in for now gonna go back out at 1 . 2am it is supposed to be at the strongest. Thats the peak according to Space.com

what a bunch of crap! i stay up wayyyyyyyyyyyyy past my bed time and i get friggin clouds!! blehhhhhhhhhhhhh we saw about 15 total and 2 really big ones. ah well maybe next time lol goodnight ladies
