CALLING ALL 9/03 BRIDES!!!

I was just wondering where all you 9/03 brides were at with your vendors & things. EVERYONE keeps telling me that I am soooooo ahead of myself, but I feel like I'm lagging, and that not everything is going to be done by the time the wedding comes around......

I have looked at dresses & saw some I like but
have to find 'the one' and order still
Same with BM dresses
Still have to decide on favors
Got cake topper
Ordered Cake Cutter & server
Got some bm gifts

I'm sure there is something I am missing or forgot about.


Edited to say that I have to talk to our DJ (also a good friend about out limos (that is his day job)

we still need to do the flowers, limos and tuxes -- but we're taking a break until after the holidays

I chose the girls' dresses and my gown, but we haven't ordered them.

well, here's where I'm at:

My dress is in
The girls dresses are on order
I know the flower girl's dress that I want.... Just waiting to order it, cuz I just know that she is going to grow taller if I order it now!
The church is booked
The reception hall is booked
The DJ (who also has a partner doing the videography if I approve it) is signed.
The favors are ordered
The ring bearer's pillow is waiting to be held.
The wedding bands are on order.
Signing the contracts with the photographer & limo guy next friday (11/22).
Waiting on a proposal from the florist.
Have written up paperwork on: champagne flutes, invitations, cake cutter & server, minibride decoration, the dress up things for Pete's & my champagne flutes, waiting for about another month to see if I can find a nice Cinderella type cake topper.

I think that's it right now......... My brain is starting to hurt!

YAY!!!!! A 9/03 thread. Do you ladies see how cloes the 5/03 brides have gotten. They keep each other up to date on their progress.

Oh boy - I feel like I better get a move on. I'm 9/13 and this is what Ive booked so far:

I have meetings with two photographers next week and have called the flortist I think I want. Still working on BM dresses and have no idea about invitations. Also sort of panicked b/c I didn't block off rooms and the place is closed for the season (we're getting married in the Hamptons).

I feel like I have all this time but it is going by SO fast! I'm sure I'll start up again after the holidays.

Yes, I'm using High Society.... The Rolls that they have is gorgeous, and by the time that the September weddings are here.... They'll have all new 2003 limos (they are actually working out the fine print of getting them ordered now). So, I'm totally psyched.

I agree - we should all keep each other up to snuff on what's what. Good luck, and God speed to us all!

Sure - Their phone number is # 631-581-7790.

I'm dealing with Rob. He's the owner, and a very nice guy. If and when you go to meet with him, the Rolls is kept at his house, in his driveway, and the cars are kept in a garage in Melville (I'm almost positive it's in that town).

Great to see so many 9/03 brides. We are on 9/27 at the Milleridge and after reading all the threads, I have realized how far behind I am.

We have only booked the reception site and church. I am researching all the rest and hoping to make appointments for next week. It will be great to have a group to get ideas and advice from.

I must call my vendors at least once a day if they don't call me back. one of my vendors has been sick with the flu - it's killing me!

It is so nice to meet other neurotics. My FH is a great sport but I think I am making him nuts with all of the planning. We live in the city but most of the vendors we are looking at are out on the Island so it is hard to make appointments for during the week since most don't have time over the weekends. Once the DJ and photographer are booked I will feel much better.

welcome to my world.... i work 8-5 monday thru friday; go to school 6-10 monday thru thursday; do all wedding planning & errands friday night - all day saturday; and spend one uninterrupted, non wedding day with my FH on sundays!!!!!!!!!!

i'm tired!
