We go into contract tomorrow!
I can't believe it!! I'm so excited. We're meeting with the lawyer tomorrow to put down the first 5% and sign the contract.
I have a list of questions but any advice for a first time buyer is welcome!!

Re: We go into contract tomorrow!
Good luck...here is some advice.
1. make sure to get a disclosure statement from the buyer.
2. have the house inspected by a Professional Engineer ...not a "home inspector." The difference is similar to the difference between your C.P.A. and a "tax preparer." One has much more experience and formal education.
3. take pictures...you'll enjoy looking at them a few years from now after you modify your house.
4. enjoy the experience

Re: We go into contract tomorrow!
Isla Engineering is right! Make sure you got the house throughly inspected by an engineer! Good Luck though! We signed our contract in September -- we are suppose to close the end of this month. It's such a scary feeling, but enjoy!
