We FINALLY set a date!
My FH finally picked a date last night - so we can start booking and really planning now. I'm soooo excited!
April 24, 2004 (we just wish it was sooner)

Congrats!!!! How exciting! I felt the same way, we got engaged Sept. 2001 and set our date for Oct. 19, 2003 I thought it was so far away Time flies so fast though. I'm already less than a year away Enjoy everything and all the planning. Welcome aboard!

Well we haven't picked yet - just some on a list.
My parents want us to use their club (cherry valley which is across the street from our church) which is nice but we are still debating if that is what we want. My mother will call them tomorrow and get a price quote (I would but you have to be a member so they have to make the call) then when we find out what the price range is we will expand our list. Our problem is that we will have a sat. night and it will be a rather small wedding (100-125) which will limit us greatly from a number of places. But thanks to a number of great people here we have a list of possible places to check out. It is exciting to plan and sad as well. I unfortunately will have to do a lot on my own - my FH just moved to Michigan in August to start school (which is why we waited so long to set a date.)

Congrats! I know your date seems like forever, my date is 7/11/04, and everybody keeps asking us why so long?? We got engaged a month ago and have only accomplished picking a date and a place. Good luck and have fun!

Congratulations!! And don't worry, there are still quite a few places that can accommodate your size wedding. I am having a small wedding too (130-150) and some places were even too small for us
