I finally picked my cake!! Vendor rave with pics!
I met with Tom from Audrey's today, who was great. He gave me a lot of ideas and was totally honest with me. I had a hard time finding a cake that I liked and finally saw this one which I thought was really pretty. Keep in mind I won't be doing the break in the cake, it'll just be a regular 4 tier cake without the roses in the middle and the designs will be in ivory not gold. We are having red roses but since we are doing black magic, he told us to do fresh instead of the paste roses bc the paste ones will never come out dark enough to look like black magic. What do you think?? We are doing a thin ivory ribbon made out of icing...he said this way it will match the exact color of the designs. I'm so excited!! We picked yellow cake with white chocolate mousse and raspberry and yellow with fresh strawberries and whipped cream!! yay! He color copied the pic for me, which I scanned...so it's a little dull...but u get the hint! Do you think we should do the designs in champagne?? the girls are wearing wine with champagne sashes...I was debating if I should do off white, ivory, or champagne...ahhh too many choices!

It's a beautiful cake! I am looking forward to meeting with Tom when my time comes. He made both of my sister's wedding cakes and he is just so enthusiastic about what he does!

I love it ! I think champagne would be nice. It will stand out but not too much. Can I ask about how much it was? I have no idea about cakes. Ours is included but I was thinking of getting one anyway if their cake isn't good.

our cake is "included" with flowerfield...so all we paid was $60 for the extra design work and the fresh fruit...the fondant and the rest of the cake is included already...sorry i cant really help ya there...

awesome awesome awesome!!! lol i'm totally biased 'cause this is the same photo i used for my bakery! (and i too did fresh roses) here's a photo of my cake...yours is going to be BEAUTIFUL!!!!
