I almost don't mind taking my car for service every two weeks. Random update that no one asked for. OMG another update
What this is not about: The frequency with which my check engine light comes on and how many hours I've spent in Greenwich against my will.
What this is about: I am infatuated with the guys who work on my car. Not the service manager dudes inside, all clean and behind their desks.
I like the dirty ones, the youngish ones, with their uniforms splattered, hanging on them juuuuust right. The ones who make a point to come rescue me. I'm not helpless - just mildly retarded when it comes to anything technical.
And I met my favorite one today. He's totally from PR. Delish.
Because of my new discovery, I'm going to not complain when I have to go back, like next week. Since my check engine light WILL come on again (I was warned  ).

You are a better car owner than me. I ignore the check engine light and hope it goes off. This has worked the last 8 times. 
Hotness in the form of men with skills is the best kind of hotness.

My mechanic is my brother in law. He looks like the Hamburgalar and Alfred E. Newman had a love child.
My check engine light has been on for over a year. IT never goes off.
Also my sideview mirror is duct taped on.

Must be contagious.
My check engine light only goes off after I have an oil change. Then a week later it's back on again until the next oil change.
I have given up on trying to fight it.
But at least your mechanic is cute. Mine looks like a cross between Joe Pesci and George Wendt.

Those ******* bastards.
We left our car there for like two weeks this spring so that they could change the catalina/catalitic converter.
Our close by car guy told us today that they never did it.
Our paper work says that they did it. Conveniently, that bad girl is no longer covered under our warranty.
