Where do they sell these hair clips & what other type of veil can you wear with it?

Besides finding them... how do you think the full veil would look? I am not crazy about this type.

You can buy hairclips at a lot of the online sites but I highly recommend www.tradewindtiaras.com because the owner will custom make a hairpin to match whatever you want for $35 for 5 (which is a lot less than I have seen elsewhere). They also sell some on ebay but they are usually the lower quality ones like you find at Claires.

i am also wearing a full traditional type veil and I am not sure of my hairstyle yet but I am buying pins & clips to be prepared
i think they look great

HappyBride....are you as addicted as I am? My husband just got Tivo....I never miss my General Hospital. I love Brenda...if I could look like any girl...it would be her...definately.

i'm hooked on GH too. i watch it at ten on soapnet. did anyone see carly's hair when she married sonny over the summer (for the second time)? low bun with flowers (stephanotis possibly??), it was stunning!!

I decided last minute to get them, I had small pearls & a headband style headpiece. My veil was like the one in the pic you posted(I used that pic as an idea for my hair!) I don't think you'd be able to see them if you wore the other kind of veil. I got them in Tri-County Fleamarket, I found a ton of last minute stuff there.

I wore my hair EXACTLY as that pic and I bought my crystal hair pins at one of those kiosks in Smithhaven Mall (actually one of the girls on here told me about this place). The hairpins were like 6 for $50 and they looked so pretty. I think they have the same kiosk in Walt Whitman. I wore only the hairpins and my veil.



It may be hard to see my hair in this pic..trying to look for a good pic of my hair.

I think I am going to go on a search this weekend and go to the places you girls requested. I think I am going to have to try a tiara hairstyle and this one and see which I like better, it is just kind of expensive to buy the clips for a test run, but I love the look, thanks again all!!

Kitty...I bought a tiara too and then when I saw that pic I wanted my hair like that and bought the hair clips as well. Someone was going to buy my old tiara from me but I never heard from them again about it...oh well. It was only $35 for the tiara. Good Luck in your search and your hair trials!

they were v. reasonably priced

I settled on the pins after i tried on a bunch of tiaras and they didn't look good on me... I also felt that the pins would suit me better. I don't know which kind I will get yet, but i know they'll be ok with my updo (which I finally figured out and found someone to do for me)
