Re: BM dresses for "bigger" girls
I am very "gifted" on the top I love dresses that are halter top, that's the cut that flatter me the most.

Re: BM dresses for "bigger" girls
Many of the Bill Levkoff styles and the ones I picked out (Davinci) have removable straps.
This way, some girls can wear the straps and some girls don't have to - since the whole dress is the same, it will still look uniform.

Re: BM dresses for "bigger" girls
as someone is who bigger up top I'd say any style goes as long as the undergarments are appropriate. I got a strapless for my dress that I could do cartwheels in.... fm if you need details on this miracle worker of a bra...
If you don't wanna do strapless dresses for aesthetic reasons, then anything with a wide enough straps to "hide" the straps of a standard bra. No v-necks as it could be too revealing for the ceremony

Re: BM dresses for "bigger" girls
I'm a 36DD and strapless dresses are actually the most flattering. Spaghetti straps or thin straps will make them look like linebackers if they also have broad shoulders. Strapless if far more flattering than anything halter top, too.
Sleeveless (but not strapless) can be good, too - I'll see if I can find a pic later.
Do not do anything high waisted. It will not fit them correctly.
All of my BMs are well endowed but 2 (I have 7). They all chose the strapless. Take them to the store and have them try on a bunch -- also talk to the salesperson who should have good ideas. There are options out there if you don't want strapless, but it's a myth that strapless doesn't work for those who are well-endowed. It's often the most flattering!

I have 3 BMs that are very well endowed on top. I was struggling with this issue of finding something suitable for them all. I originally didn't want to get them strapless for fear that they wouldn't look right. I read an article somewhere about what you mentioned...spaghetti straps are not flattering and strapless is on the top of the list for flattering a large bustline and also a dress with a dropped waist.

Re: BM dresses for "bigger" girls
Before my cousin, who is a size 12 (not a huge girl at all!), but a 36JJ dropped out of the wedding, I told her she could pick any style dress that she was most comfortable in! As long is was the same color as the rest, I didn't care. My other two BM are both a size 2 and can wear anything! I couldn't expect them all to feel comfortable in the same style dress... My MOH has a completely different dress then the rest of them so she was no worries!

Re: BM dresses for "bigger" girls
Well endowed girls can wear strapless - as long as the coverage is sufficient. There should be more material in the bust area so that the dress comes up higher. Nothing looks worse than the 'girls' popping out the top of a dress and way too mcuh cleavage showing. As a previous member posted, halter dresses are also a good option. You can mix the style of the dresses as long as the fabric is the same.

If the dress is the right size, then there won't be coverage issues.
If there is too much cleavage, it's either the way the dress is supposed to look or it's the wrong size.
