May, June, July 2008 Brides

Our wedding is June 7th. What vendors have you girls booked already?? We have Location, Band, Florist...that's it. I feel like I am SO behind seeing that people have hair and makeup already booked with dates after mine when I don't even have a photographer yet...Should I get my butt into gear...is anyone at my speed right now??

Im july 08...i booked the RH, church, dj, photo/video and saved the date for my florist..that is all..i didnt even register yet haha

i dont have hair and make-up yet either. but you should really look into your photographer and videographer since they book pretty fast.

I think you still have time but I wouldn't wait too much longer to start looking into the other things. I'm getting married July 25, 2008 and so far we booked:

RH
Church
Band
Photo/video
Dress/veil
Hair/makeup

We still need limos, flowers, invites, favors, and other little things.

don't worry, it's so easy to get overwhelmed. you've got almost a whole year to go. no sweat. i would look into photo/video ( cause the favorite ones are usually booked first), go dress shopping ( cause sometimes it takes 6-8 months to order), and then just take it slow.

I'm going to look for dresses on Thursday.

Next to do is flowers, limos and my save the dates. I started to registry a while ago. I have to finish that. I was all gunho when we first got engagment and now I have been slacking.

Its easy to get overwhelmed. Just remember that there are people that get engaged and married in 3 months so pace yourself but dont wait too long.

i'm a march bride and i havent even gotten a gown yet, let alone book hair and makeup.

i think you're on the right course. I know a ton of brides who've planned amazing weddings in less than 6 months so don't panic!

i wouldnt worry about timing. Its easy to get caught up when you compare yourself to others. I have RH, photo/video, and dj booked and I did order my dress. I have flowers and make up next but i know im early for both of those....I would start booking those vendors that you feel are the most important to you and then just take it one by one from there. good luck!

We have our church, RH, photographer and DJ. My uncle is doing the video...I am doing our invitations...my mom is doing the flowers and making my dress. We are doing e pics in the fall and I am going for hair and make up trials starting in January. Hope that helps!
