NWR - No bake dessert????
Any suggestions? I'm going to a BBQ and want to bring something new, but easy to make. . .
Thanks in advance!

Re: NWR - No bake dessert????
Not a "new" idea or anything, but you can make chocolate pie with instant pudding and a ready-made graham cracker or oreo crust. You can use either homemade whip cream or cool whip + chcolate sprinkles on top.

Re: NWR - No bake dessert????
I made this once and it was a big hit with the kids -- though the adults loved it, too.
It involves baking a pan of brownies, though.
Bake a pan of brownies and let them cool. Soften a half gallon of mint chocolate chip ice cream and spread it on the top. Freeze.
Top with cool whip and put back in the freezer.
It's very rich, but delicious!

Re: NWR - No bake dessert????
Another ice cream cake recipe. A woman at work made this and it was sooooooooo good and sounds so easy to make too!!
KALUHA ICE CREAM CAKE Make the night before you use it. 8 OR 9" Square Pan 12 ice cream sanwiches 1 small container cool whip (or store own brand) defrosted 1/2 to 2/3 C. Kaluha (Creme de Cocoa, Tia Marie, Crème De Menthe can be substituted) Put the pan in the freezer for a few minutes to chill it. Make one layer with the sandwiches on the bottom of the pan. Cut them to fit if necessary. Spoon on the Kahula so that each sandwich gets some. Spread a layer of cool whip using 1/2 the container. Repeat this process for the second layer. Sprinkle the top with either sprinkles, crushed oreos or crushed cholate graham crackers. You can use nuts or crunched up candy bars. Cover with plastic wrap and refreeze. For a 9 x 12 pan
24 ice cream sandwiches 1 12 oz container or large container cool whip 2/3 to 3/4 C Kaluha
Non Alcoholic: Replace the Kaluha with chocolate syrup or butterscotch syrup or frozen strawberies in sryup defrosted.

Re: NWR - No bake dessert????
Oreo pudding pie...it's my FAV!
All you need is chocolate pudding, milk to make the pudding and an oreo pie already-made crust from the supermarket. You can buy some regular or chocolate whipped cream to top it off....then, add some personal touches like crumbled Oreos....whole Oreos to decorate....chocolate chips.....sprinkles...it's up to you!
