I loved Barabra!! She is so sweet and to the point. She is also so not pushy. It was all about us and what we wanted no pressure in decisions. Im just so sad that we cant afford to use them. The pkg. was way out of my reach by double and since we are having the ceremony at Old Westbury Gardens the pkg didnt include church arrangements because we didnt need them obviously. I really had my heart set on using them Well back to the drawing board.

I met w/ Barbara on Sat. she was awesome, i loved her ideas and her quote was $500 less than the previous florist i went to, so of course I am now a Flower Michele Bride.

Did you ask if there was anythiing she could do for you on the quote?

Definitely check out Verbena Designs. She is great there too and she will work with any budget.

Did you explain to them that it was out of your budget and ask what adjustments they can make. Trust me it is worth talking to Barbara.

The problem I believe is my cp's. I really want a certain cp and she did give me an alternative quote for different cp's which are not as unique as the one's I want but it was not much of a difference in price unfortunetly.

On there site I saw the most unique really looking cp and that's what I wanted for the whole wedding really is unique. Every wedding I've been to has had really the same old theme. I like everyone else on here Im sure just want their wedding day to stand out and be remembered. Anyhow, it was the cherry blossom branches with hanging candles and unfortunetly it doesnt look like that's gonna be reality. I really loved the way she(Barbara)just went with what I was looking for instead of talking us into the same old same old. She did make suggestions on how to cut some costs too. I was just really impressed with her but like I said double my budget and it didnt include church arrangements because we dont need it and it was way out of my reach.

PLEASE go back to Barbara and let her know what your budget is at the very beginning and Im sure she will be willing to work something out.... she can give you ideas of what you can get in your budget and then decide....I booked her on the spot....she quoted me $1000 less than anothe vendor for the EXACT same pieces

thanks for the tip- I just started checking out flowers and wanted to go to a few places. I have heard such good things about them.
