Re: anyone have good recipes for cooking for a beginner?
I have some easy recipes...
Want a meatloaf recipe? DH loves my potatoes and they could not be easier...
Pasta- I make linguini and clams well...
since you asked for Chicken cutlets, here you go...
get the cutlets-I sprinkle adobo on each side- DH LOVES his adobo- then I dip it in egg on each side, dip it in the Italian breadcrumbs on both sides...
You can fry them or bake them... Fry them on each side- or bake in the oven 350, and I keep checking them- 15 min, 20 min...sometimes longer...it depends... I usually just fry them... I make them with mashed potatoes and string beans usually...
So easy!

Vegetarian bean burritos:
2 large cans of dark red kidney beans (I like progresso) 1 can tomato paste 1/2 onion
Chop onion and brown in frying pan with oil and garlic. Strain two cans of dark red kidney beans and pour in frying pan - let soften. Once softened - smush beans with spoon. Stir in tomato paste. Mix in with garlic, pepper, and lowry's seasoned salt to taste. Serve in fajita shell with favorite taco toppings.
It takes about 15 mins! Yum!!

Grilled Chicken on BBQ
1/2 lemon 1 envelope goodseasons italian dressing
Take a package of chicken breasts or thin sliced chicken cutlets....rinse them clean...put them in a bowl.....squeeze half a lemon on them(lemon is a natural tenderizer)let sit for 10 minutes......prepare goodseasons dressing per package directions...cover the chicken with the dressing, let it marinade for at least an hour(could prepare the day before)Then cook on an indoor grill or BBQ....
These are so simple to make and sooooooo good
