Need advice frm those getting ready at house 4 hair &MU

Are your BMs & your mom going to get their hair done with you at home?

My hair person can only fit in maximum 5 people - with my girls and my mom and myself I have 7...I think mom really wants to get it done with me...and my girls do too...(2 BMs are sleepoing over with me the night before) plus my aprtmen tis tinyyyy and we live downstairs from future MIL and SIL.....I assume they might want to get their hair and MU done tooooo...

what are you guys doing...help......!!!!!

one thing you can do is stagger people so that you don't have everyone sitting in the same place at the same time - maybe have your mom and MOH there with you at the beginning, then kind of move people around as you get ready? since your hair person can only do one person's hair at a time, the others would just be sitting around taking up space - we did this for my friend's wedding and it worked out well. A couple of us ran some errands (picked up breakfast, made phone calls, etc) while others were getting ready and then we switched. just a thought!

I feel your pain, I am in a similar situation. It will be crazy. I know it's an added expense, but can you and your girls chip in for a hotel room? This way it won't be so cramped. You may want to mention to the girls who are not sleeping over that it is going to be very cramped and crazy and they might save themselves some stress by going to a salon. You could tell FMIL and FSIL that you accidentally overbooked your hair and makeup people and that you would really appreciate it if they could go to the salon. At this point, I feel like going to a salon all alone and leaving the hair/makeup madness behind at my Mom's house!

Thank you, I think I might be able to get a 2nd person but that is alot of people if everyone wants their hair done...I just don't want it to chaotic that morning, I was hoping I could get away with just me and my 2 MOHs but I feel like mom wants to be there.....if I include mom then I have to include MIL and SIL etc......its Either all or nothing :0

My ceremony is actually a block away so I kinda wanted to just get ready at home and not in a hotel...I absolutely adore and loveeeeee my moms,

I just think I will be more at ease just chilling with my 2 MOH, my mom is going to make me cry all day long - we are both saps.....hehe - I just feel awful if its bad that I dont get it done with her...

I was hoping that my MIl and SIl and moms can go to her salon but I dont know if I am just god awful for even thinking of that....

Don't feel bad if you ask them to go to a salon! They can still hang out with the girls after they're done. Seriously, I started thinking of booking my hair with my regular girl and then I was like wait a minute...it's MY wedding!!

True True - I just dont want to have to have my hair girl find another girl if I dont have to ya know???

I know at least 4 of my girls will come to my house - but I guess they will have to just get there early that day and be ready to go...
