Getting Ready Hotel - Book the day BEFORE wedding or day OF wedding?
I'm pretty sure we are going to get a hotel for my bridal party to get ready at. I was thinking that I should book it the day BEFORE our wedding. Then I realized I will probably be running around like mad before and after the rehearsal dinner. I don't think I'd like to have a last day slumber party with my bridal party at the hotel...
My wedding is at 7pm. We'll probably get ready around noon after brunch.
Should I check into the hotel the day OF the wedding?
Please share your thoughts.

Our ceremony was 5:30 Saturday night and we checked in the night before. I knew I wanted to get ready at the hotel saturday morning/afternoon and we wanted to make sure there was no unnecessary stress the day of. It was the best thing we did. We stayed together friday night....woke up....had breakfast together....than went our seperate ways to get ready.

I booked both...it ended up being expensive as all hell (I won't scare you with how much it was) but it was well worth it because it was nice to relax with the ILs the night before, get ready with the BP the morning of and to get to the hotel right after the wedding.

I'm staying the night before and the night of. I think it just makes it easier so that the makeup and hair ppl can come and I don't have to worry about check in. JMO

At alot of hotels the check-in time is 3pm. That won't be enough time to check in, get settled, then start getting ready. You can probably try to get an early check in, but I say save the trouble and check in the night before.

Book the day before and the day of! That can be your honeymoon suite and your getting ready suite. It is your wedding day! you don't wnat to wory aout packing.

even though I have a 7pm ceremony I'm booking the day before & day of. I want plenty of time to relax & get ready the morning of- take pics- and still have time before the ceremony starts. i think its going to remove some wedding day stress & i'm all about that!
