anyone else want to get their planning done early?

Or am i just crazy? I want to have everything done and booked and taken care of (except invites and placecards) so we can relax and have fun this summer! I wonder if it can happen

no i totally want it done now!!!! i hate planning my own things... and its stressful so i just want it done and over!! lol

i am done! and its nice...at times i want to do wedding things...but the big stuff is out of the way i dont want to be going crazy trying to get things done its nice to know the major stuff is taken care of and i got who i wanted BOOKED!

I'm actually enjoying it...we're getting things done slowly but surely...I'm kinda waiting things out to check my budget after my tax return and eparty...I just got my christmas bonus- which is going to bump me up from David's Bridal to the Amalia Carrara dress that I just FELL IN LOVE with. Its not even on their website yet...the only pic I've seen is in the current issue of Brides magazine. It was on a 2 page spread...OMG!!!!!

Never thought I would get that "IT" feeling w/o trying it on but WHOA! :tingles:

I want to but its not happening..

fh and I have summers off.. so maybe we can get a lot done then too... i can only hope. We have only booked church and hall so far, havent even looked at anything else

definitely .... its so much easier to get things done when you aren't under pressure.....not to mention you have the time to do research and get the best deals.

PLUS with the way everything books up on LI you need to start early - LOL!!

I would love to but I think it would take the fun out of the wedding planning too. I dont want to be bored all of the way until 2008. I am not going to start any DIYs until the fall so once everythings booked, I still have some stuff to do to keep myself occupied!

We want to have everything booked by march.
We are using the 10k from my dad, and 5k from his parents to use as deposits on all our vendors

The only thing that honestly makes me want to get cracking is the thought of losing my first choices on vendors....I have my hear set on Imagine studios and if I had to pick a band right now it would be The Projekt, but I am yet to meet my date twin so SO FAR I'm in the clear....

Yes and no...I want to book most of the vendors soon because I am afraid of not getting them for my date...But i think if i get tooo much done, i'll miss not having wedding things to do

yes and no ! I love the wedding planning because it is fun. But, I could see it getting annoying once the date is closer and the pressure is on.

Wedding planning is fun!! But I do hope to have all the major vendors booked by this summer! Then I can concentrate on DIYs that FH doen't seem to think I can do!! Great support system huh? He's like, "Ann, you think you can makethat ?"

Little does his know I'll be recruiting him for most of those projects!!

I want my planning done early! I feel like I'd have to b/c we're getting married Memorial Day... I already have four date twins, and I know more are coming, plus it's the middle of prom season. I don't want to have to fight off a bunch of high school girls for my limos!
