speaking of...

funny stories on the cruise thread i have so many i thought id share 2 of my favorites.

1. i bought a new office chair and needed to bring it up to my room a few years ago. anyway im not always the brightest crayon in the box. so i figure its kinda heavy so ill just pick it up and put it over my head kind of thing. so i pick it up and start up the stairs. next thing i know i bang in to the wall and then again and again and my dad yells "hey STUPID turn the chair around so the back of its not infront of your face".. and all you hear is "OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"


2. I was in the hospital for kidney stones last year never spent more then an ER visit there in my life. So i was told id be spending the week at Good Sam. Well my mother never told me that since its a Catholic hospital the priest makes rounds everyday to bless the sick. So my first day there he comes in im in so much pain they didnt know what i had right away so i was crying and really upset and just wanted to go home. he walks in and i just lost it.. so he said his blessing then left. so i look at my mom and she said "whats the matter" and i said "why am i getting my last rights? am i going to die?" and she just started laughing and said megan this is normal hes just being nice and saying a prayer for you im sorry i forgot to tell you this is what they do.. i felt so stupid and appoligized to him the next day he got quite a kick out of my story! to this day i laugh so hard !!

The first one really had me rolling because I do things like that.

I bought a new phone maybe 2 months ago and after the first 2 days I go to charge my phone but it didnt charge the next morning when i checked, again next day i try again still wouldn't charge...Now i am pissed because I get a new phone and its not working...So i kept saying i'll go after work to a sprint store to check it out maybe its the charger or battery, but i didnt have time after work...Then after a few days almost a week actually i realized the whole time i was putting FH's charger into my phone, i am so stupid lol.

I've done alot of stupid things like that but can't remember real funny ones right now...But oh i remember something real stupid i said.

Someone I know just had a boy and girl twins, so i say oh are they fraternal or identical, but right after i say it i am like omg wait DUHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

denise thats hysterical!!!! i had the same kind of thing with my cell phone and i started to b!tch to FH and hes like let me look and he walked in my room and hes like "megan? are u serious?" and isaid "yes its been a few days and my phones dead and i plug it in every night"... he says " did you ever think to plug it into the wall?" that one def. racks up some points on the stupid list!

You know whats really annoying me this past week...FH has a story about me the past week he won't shut up about and i don't even think its funny.

Last week i had half a day at work and FH was working one stop away from me, so i took the train to meet him bc he had his car and was getting out soon...So i call him to say i got out of the train station and ask where to go now, well i tell him where I am and hes not sure which exit of the train i got out of, so he is like ok just walk West, i hate when he does that because I DONT KNOW i am horrible when it comes to this...So i am like if you don't know where i am then how can you say to walk west, i was like what if i was coming from the other direction, according to him it doesn't matter, he gave this whole explanation about if your on west broadway walking down canal it will be west regardless or whatever he said, honestly when i said what if i was coming from the other side you would've sworn it was the funniest thing in the world, and he hasn't stopped joking about it...He finds it funny that i don't know which way is west, north or whatever.

I said hey if you tell me west i am gonna go left

Am i the only one who doesnt know this, i hate when people say go west its so annoying lol

funny u siad that cuz i was just talking to FH about knowing direction when walking cuz hes a NYPD cop now and hes on a foot post and when they get a call on and say their on a chase how do u raido in " im heading west on 196th street?" how do u just blurt out what direction your going??

your not alone i dont get it

no FH doesnt know.. he said he uses a map hes like a tourist in his own precient! i think its hysterical... could u imagine... "excuse me officer can you give me directions?" and he just gives him a map cuz he doesnt know ...lol

I don't know but according to FH, he doesn't know how someone can't know ...He also just knows these things, i know he looks like the furthest thing from it but he is extremely smart lol...When we went to check out RH and the guy was doing all the calculations how many guests, price pp then did the tax and gratuity Fh did it in his head and had the answer faster than our BM who used a calculator. I will also give him some math problems from my classes at work that NOBODY does themselves the comp does it all for you, its basically millions multipled by millions divided by like fractions and percentages and he can do it in his head, when i told people at work they couldnt believe it...Thats why i call him rainman...It gets annoying sometimes bc i am like how do you do that and he's like its quite simple actually

my FH can be smart when he applies himself but hes just really full of useless info for example he asked me the other day "what other mammal in the world has sex for pleasure?" and i said i dont know "he said the dolphin" and then i went to look it up to see if he was just pulling my leg.. no hes not hes right.. he comes out with all kinds of things like this...

REALLY!!!! wow thats interesting...I heard that every person in their lifetime will have at least 8 spiders crawl on their body...also a ducks quack doesnt echo lol

I have MANY a blond moment. I think FMIL is convinced her son is marring an idiot. They took us to Aruba for their 25th wedding anniversary and we wre going to benihana for dinner. They made it my job to look in the phone book and get the #. So I looked it up and saw that there were 2 #'s so I told her there were 2 locations, and she couldn't believe that the island of aruba would have 2 benihanas. So I said yup it's true there's one in (forgot the name of the town) and one in facisimile. Then she took the phone book from me and made the reservation herself. I didn't know facisimile was the long version of fax! Seriously that was the first time I heard the word, I thought it was a town in aruba.
