Any favor ideas for Christmas wedding?
My cousin who lives in PA is getting married at Christmas time. I told her I would post this question. She would like her favors to have a holiday theme? Any ideas?

Re: Any favor ideas for Christmas wedding?
my cousin had a baby and they put his picture on a christmas bulb ornament. I have no idea how much it is, but seems like a cute idea. Then they can remember u at every christmas!!!

Re: Any favor ideas for Christmas wedding?
maybe just a nice glass round red ornament. you can frost it in light glitter maybe with a ribbon with your names on it. Or - how about a little box of christmas cookies wrapped in a box like a present?
or a cd with a great collection of christmas/holiday music - good luck!

I would say an ornament too. You could also bake cookies in different shapes. Snowflakes, reindeers, christmas tree, etc.

Try liilian vernon, terrys village, oriental trading. They have have online catalogs w/ great holiday ideas. I posted a while back about inexpensive soup mixes, coffee creamers & candle sets that were great for Christmas wedding favors, useful & unique. Good Luck

Re: Any favor ideas for Christmas wedding?
A friend of mine is also getting married at Christmas and she is having small pointsettias as her centerpieces. These will also double as her favors. She is also toying with the idea of ornaments that you can get from Oriental Trading for like $5 for a dozen or so.

Re: Any favor ideas for Christmas wedding?
I'm having a winter theme, more than Christmas (we are an interfaith couple). I would have done ornaments otherwise, but am planning to do mugs filled with hot cocoa and hershey kisses (if we can swing the cost). Another idea is something I saw in Terry's Village (I loooooove that catalog) - they are called chocolate spoons. They are literally spoons covered in chocolate that you can flavor your coffee with or some of them, when put into hot milk or water turn melt and turn into hot chocolate.

Re: Any favor ideas for Christmas wedding?
How about pine tree seeds or growing kits. Check out www.greenworldproject.net and www.treeinabox.com. www.plantamemory.com. I am getting married on Dec. 29th and am using a plantable dove ornament that has seeds in it that when planted grows a pine tree.
