Deal Savvy Brides is this a deal or no deal? LOL
My BM dresses with RK's "no frills" will be $160
My dress salon gave me a price of $210 (price includes full service alterations & pressing & insurance)
I think the $210 is good deal opinions?

contact phyllis at bridal elegance, find out how much they are there...she has a cap of $55 on alterations...you might get them cheaper.

i ordered mine on netbride.com for $130 (not including alterations) a piece at the bridal store they wanted $210+alteration fee.

alterations will def. cost at least $50.00 so I would go with the salon at $210 with everything included.
you can always ask your BM which they prefer.

I think its good- I ordered mine for my friend's wedding from David's Bridal- the dress was 180 +tax, and I spent about 45$ on alterations

I think that's reasonable. If you want to try it for cheaper, go to "Here Comes the Bridesmaid" on 14th street in NYC.
Got our Alfred SUng dresses there for $130 and they are really nice.
Check it out! (but I do think the $210 is reasonable)

It's only a good deal if you need a decent amount of alterations. Usually alterations cap around 65....and I don't know of any place that charges extra for pressing and insurance??? I've been in 6 weddings and have never been charged to have the dress pressed. The insurance for the dress i don't think i've ever received....so I don't know much about that part. I would say the deal is just OK....good for some, not good for others.
