Im going to see CLM on Monday with FH. We both fell in love with the pictures on the website. Gotten some good info on this site from other CLM brides. Right now, appt with Lou, so hope all goes well. Any suggestions on locations and pricing for LI reception halls near the water.
Since we are paying for it ourselves we are definitely thinking of doing the Sunday night route.
Other places by the water-
Giorgio's (but when I called they were booked for summer of 2009 at least all the evenings).
Sans Souci of Sea Cliff- heard they have good prices, only 1 wedding at a time ( I didnt get a chance to see it though)
Ventian Yacht Club- Beautiful and pricer then most of the others
CLM- LOve it.... but I am biased
There are more... but I can't remember.

Not to discourage her... but many places are already completely booked for June, 2009. If they are not then she should know that is peak time, especially for a Saturday night so she should expect premium pricing as well as higher minimum guest requirements. If she is looking to spend less and also have more options in terms of availability, she should consider a Saturday afternnoon.

Does anyone have a price for a Saturday night in November 2009 for Fox Hollow? I'd consider Friday nite as well.
We are already booked at the Fox Hollow for April 2010 but FH and I would like to move our wedding up if we can... but we're wondering if we'd save any money by getting married in an off-peak month.

Im Getting married at the chateau la mer on a saturday afternoon in may with a 4 hour buffett wedding for $60 pp in the room up stairs. The price is the same for a 4 hour sit down $75 pp for a 5 hour afternoon reception for night it was $95pp. then you have to add tax and everything.
