I haven't even looked at ANY places because we thought of doing our wedding in Greece (we are both from there). SO, I was going to go there this summer and then decide what we were gonna do. I think maybe I should go check out some places in the next few weekends though and really weigh my options. I always thought prices would be closer to $200 pp!

Well we probably would have about 150 people TOPS. We aren't picky about whether or not we want it near the water or gardens--we'd be open to both. I think the one thing I AM picky about is having it in a hall where there are 2 or more weddings going in. I think I could handle ONE other wedding but more than that is ridiculous.
Also, we live in Queens, so we'd prefer something not TOO far out on LI.

We just booked Westbury Manor but I went to CLM and they gave me a price of $60 pp. After I got home I had a message on my machine from Nick who said he would go lower if I decided on CLM! It's so crazy that a winter wedding is literally half the price of a summer one. Boy am I glad I always wanted the winter!

I actually would have preferred an early spring wedding because the last thing I want to do is be sweating on my wedding day!! OYYY!!
I was a maid of honor at my best friends wedding and wore a floor length gown in 105 degree weather (In Cyprus) and I iwas sweating in places that I can't even mention on a public message board!!

so i saw this thread an decided to add the quotes i got from a bunch of RH places we went to. Hope it helps
CORAL HOUSE ; (MARCH 29, 09); $65PP, PLUS $395 FOR CEREMONY FEE.
Sandcastle: (same date) We got the quote for the most expensive menu wich is gold, Full vieniese raw bar, etc. Chair covers, tv screens, the works, plus 10 days in greece Hm, n $500 ceremony fee, to $120pp. Sky cocktail room, Ball reception room,
Terrace on the park: Sunday afternoon); $85, $1000 ceremony fee
Leonard's: (March sunday evening 2009) : ice carving, renaissance reception, vienice, raw bar, 6 course dinner, $90 pp plus$700 ceremony fee
Fox Hollow- this was our second choice, but on sun they only do afternoon, n i really wanted evening.(march 29. 09 afternoon) -Garden terrace room, $60pp plus 750 ceremony fee)
CHateau Briand(stunning but a friends of ours are getting married there we want to be special lol) Sunday, march 29, 09, evening) CH-Cittour supper club, dinner Normandy room .chair covers, choco. fountain w/ fruits n candy, ice sculpture. $69pp plus $ 750 for ceremony fee

All of these came with a wedding cake.

this is before tax and gratuity but CLM is $85 for saturday, $75 for friday and $65 for sunday...i have the price list at home for CLM, i can tell you which months exactly later and price after tax and gratuity

check the contract, if you are getting married there, i think its a 750 ceremony site fee, it includes flowers and decorations, an altar and/or a huppah.
