I went there when we were looking and we were quoted $60 pp and they were going to throw in the chocolate fountain for free

just thought i'd add a few quotes i got within the last 2 weeks...
Prices for:
Saturday, June 2009 wedding for 100-125 people
Swan Club: 98/person (viennese included in all Sat. evening weddings), 18% gratuity, 100 p. min
Crest Hollow CC: 115/person, 20% gratuity & sales tax, 150 p. min.
Fox Hollow: 99/person, 20% & sales tax & mat'd tip; willing to go down to 110 p. min. for winter garden pavillion room (even though he usually only goes down to 125 for this time)
Sans Souci: 89/person, 125 person minimum.
Milleridge Carriage House: 94/person INCLUDES gratuity and sales tax, 70 person minimum

These are all for a sat night wedding in july. most said it would "probably" go up about $5 for '09.
Snapper Inn: $100pp
Old Field Club: $125pp
Gurney's: $145 or $165pp (higher if you want steak or lobster on the menu)
Shoreham Village hall on Sound Beach: averages $150pp after site fee ($3,300)
Riverview: $73pp but you can only do it from 12-5
Atlantica: $150pp, no sat night in summer months, and you have to wait to book until they renew the contract w/ the hotel.
Brentwood Country Club: $10,000 for a 100 person package that includes dj, video, flowers, cake, & i forget what else.
Timberpoint & West Sayville CC: between $80-$95, i think

These are actually quotes for May-July of 2008 because thats what I had originally been looking for.
Floral Terrace:
Sunday nite - 70pp. Comes to $88pp after tax and grat. They threw in a ton of extras too!!
I was also considering Thurs to save some money and I was quotes $70pp and thats including tax and grat and VH
Venetian Yatch Club
Thurs. Evening - 80pp
Chateau La Mer
Thurs PM - $75pp
Sun PM - $80pp

I didn't look at any other RH but for Leonards on a Saturday Night in September I was quoted as follows:
Min. $85/pp No added extras
$15/pp for Vienese Hour
I ended up paying $120/pp with the extras I added to my cocktail hour and the vienese hour
With their service change and tax it came to $154/pp

Okay....
so far my FH and I have looked at VYC and CLM for approximately 150 people for June 209. We were quoted:
For a saturDAY wedding @ VYC: $95.00 per person.
CLM: friday night: $95/guest, Sat night: $115/guest and sun: $85/guest.
As a note, I too fell in love with VYC when I saw the website and to be honest, it is very pretty in person. However...I was told immediately off the bat that I could not get married there at night unless I guranteed a minimum of 170 guests. They told me I could only get married in the smaller of two rooms..which wasn't so bad. However if there is bad weather you get married in one of the party rooms and is nto as nice as some of the other RH that actually have a sperate area just to get married in "in case bad weather" occurs (which is very possible). Also, the area for the cocktail hour, should it rain, seemed very VERY cramped for 150 guests.
Just my opinion but figured I'd share...FH and I thought we were def going to have it at the VYC and after having gone and met with them...not so impressed. They rave and rave about their menu however not once did they mention a food tasting. CLM on the other hand, very honest, straightforward, catered to what you wanted....AND offered a food taskign right away.
As of now, CLM still an option along with WCC, Lombardi's ont he sound and possibly Huntington Harbor.
QUESTION: has anyone received quotes for june 2009, saturday night with a similar amount of guests?
