Reception Hall Price Quotes for 09
I noticed that the 08 boards have a list of price quotes that were received to help out other brides. Please share pricing information here if you wish.
I know to some it may be too early, but I know I could use some help too!!

Me and FH are going to be looking at Venitian Yacht Club, Chateau La Mer, Vineyard Caterers, Lombardis on the Sound, and some other places starting this month so I will post all the prices I get. If anyone has them already let me know so I know if its out of my price range.

this is before tax and gratuity but CLM is $85 for saturday, $75 for friday and $65 for sunday...i have the price list at home for CLM, i can tell you which months exactly later and price after tax and gratuity

East Wind for a Saturday night wants $124.95 for 200 people at the Estate. I was told that in November if I had 150 people I could get it at that same price. Seems a bit high for November, right?

Vineyard Caterers
May thru October the prices were:
Friday $100 pp
Saturday afternoon $90 pp
Saturday evening $115 pp
Sunday $110 pp
(that is without tax and grat)
Sept thru April were 10% off those prices.
If you are looking at East Wind, I would def. stop by here....its only a couple minutes away.

I thought Venetian Yacht Club would be more too! I am calling them tomorrow for prices.....I saw the pictures on the website and fell in love!!!!

Do you need to make appointments with the Reception Halls in order to go look at them? I live 10 mintues away from CLM and I wanted to go check it out after work sometime this week...but should I make an appointment instead of just popping in??

We made appointments for all the places we looked at, except Vineyard Caterers. We just happen to be out east one day and were in the parking lot staring at the place and decided to just walk in and see what happens. They didnt mind at all.

March

Saturday:$90 - $100 depending on menu
April
Friday: 85 pp
Saturday: $90 - $110 depending on menu
Those are without tax and grat.

As far as making appointments goes you don't NEED to call ahead but it would be better if you did. Just because you never know if they have something going on, plus you need someone to show you around and you don't know if there available. The best time to go and check places out is monday - thursday. That way you get all the attention on you Good luck
