we're doing a card box because FH is not from NY...and the one thing he absolutely hates about NY weddings was what he called "the pillowcase you walk around with begging for money from your friends" please keep in mind that is HIS opinion ladies, not mine...hahaha...and i don't want to carry anything...i have several friends in law enforcement coming, several military folks, my taekwondo friends & master will be there and FH is a BIG guy...so if someone wants to try and take the damn box...good luck! haha

unless you have an elderly relative or someone who won't be moving from their seat, don't do a money bag.
a card box is quite large and although it can be taken, it will be more likely to be noticed. it is also sealed, so someone can't take an envelope out.
a bag is open and can easily "lose" an envelope. also, you won't just leave it on the table, it must be held by someone at all times.
just something to think about.
fyi...the card box i used is floating around LIW. there are other people who gave theirs away for free as well
