Watermill was beautiful but they wont do a ceremony there on a saturday or sunday evening
Thatched cottage was also nice but they wanted 150 guarentee in spring or summer and 125 in winter
Larkfield Manor i love FH doesnt like it that much
I did find out that the winter is much cheaper and less of a guarentee at most places. we might start to think about moving it up to jan,feb or march

Im so excited!! FH said he will have it at Larkfield Manor. He knows i loved it and said after thinking about it and going over ideas i had for centerpieces he does too.
We went over dates with Harry in their calandar and saw Valentines day is a Saturday and we saved alot so we are booking it for that.
looks like that day is going to be one of the heavy booking dates that year even though its the winter he said

I fell in love with it too. Which room are you using? That's awesome, a Valentine's wedding. I spoke to Harry when I went too. He was really nice and willing to work with us.

i didnt even realize valentines day was on a saturday!! do you think it would be cheaper to have a wedding in feb. instead of april?

yeah it is cheaper...weddings in april are pretty popular and part of peak season.

from Jan. 1st- until Feb. 28th, you will save TONS of $$ for having your wedding during that time of year! (Valentine's day and President's weekend, they can raise the rates a little bit, compared to other dates)
i am marrying at the watermill next feb. on a sunday, in the daytime, and we are getting the same amount of time, menu, and food as someone marrying in June on a sat. nite.--but paying nearly 1/3 the price!!
so if anyone is considering a Jan-Feb wedding, know that you will save big bucks!!!

I am getting married in the watermill 4-27-08. I chose to get married a Sunday afternoon to save money. Although I have not gotten married, I am impressed with the place and the price! Good luck!

Do you by any chance have the price for a Saturday in April?? I have the price for March, and they said it goes up ALOT in April but I didnt get the price. Thanks
