Places in NYC to take pictures
My FH is coming into the city and meeting me at work so that we can do our annual Christmas in NYC night out. We wanted to take pictures for our save the dates for our 12/15/2007wedding....
Where can we go that screams NYC but isnt too christmasy?
I really wish it snowed a little :(

Central Park Lake with skyline behind you, Grand Central Station, anywhere downtown..Hope that helps

The ice skating rinks in Central park or Bryant park. That will give it a little wintery feel, but be less crazy than Rockefeller center.

central park is a great place and has tons of great locations for photos...i like strawberry fields or infront of the imagine emblem near the boathouse is always beautiful overlooking the pond, in teh winter time over by wolman rink is nice also if you go to the belvedere castle you can go up to the tower and take a great shot that overlooks the eastside of the park and get some of the skyline in it the alice in wonderland statue is cool, also going to the brooklyn bridge is new york but not christmas or if you go anywhere along the east river like by the prominade or the park you can take pictures that have the river and the skyline in it....there are sooooo many places im sure you'll take great pics...good luck!!

The South Street Seaport is always nice too...
As a Manhattan girl I personally think that if you want true "city" pictures, you should stay away from the parks (if you want a picture in a park, there are a ton of beautiful places in LI). Try an area where you'll have the skyline (or buildings) in the background - the brooklyn promenade, times square, grand central, the seaport....
