A little birdie told me about the amazing generosity each of you showed toward my DH and me at a recent GTG. Anthony and I are so very grateful and it warms our hearts to know that there are people out there as caring and wonderful as all of you!

Unfortunately, due to issues beyond anyone’s control, I haven't received the actual "package of love" (that's what I call it ). Honestly, I'm not sure I ever will because the mail can be tricky. However, the physical package doesn't matter one bit to my husband or me, for you have already bestowed us with the best present ever and nothing can change that!

I haven't met all of you in person (and truly hope that changes) and I'm sorry that I live so far because this definitely calls for a ton of hugs and kisses from me (the very least I could do ) but please know that we are extremely grateful to each and every one of you for taking the time to think about us, for the prayers, for giving of your time to write to us, for your donations.

How can I ever fully thank you all?! You’ve filled Anthony and me with incredible joy. When I told him the story he was at a loss for words and couldn’t believe that “strangers” did that…for us, for him. I still can’t believe that you all did so much!! May you all be blessed tenfold for your kindness!!

I want to reiterate that I don’t want anyone to feel anything other than happiness…even though the actual package is MIA…please, don’t let that take away from what you’ve done and how you’ve made us feel!! Some things can’t be helped. What you all have done is extremely beautiful…and truly, it’s the thought (and I know there were many beautiful thoughts) that counts!!

As a mini-update, my DH is halfway through chemo as of this Thursday. He attempted to go back to work last week but couldn’t due to his illness, small setback, but I have faith that it'll all be OK. We’ll be all done with chemo come March. Just in time for our 2nd anniversary in May. We know we’ll have a lot to celebrate and can’t wait to get started on the next chapter of our lives. Thank you for the continued prayers!!

As a follow up to Sasha's post, I'd like to explain the mishap. I sent out the package about 4 weeks ago. At the same time, I sent out another package and it arrived to its destination 3 days later. To my surprise I hadnt heard anything from Sasha and I grew concerned. I've sent dozens of packages out and I've never once had a problem. Because of this, I didnt think to insure it or even get a return receipt.
I cant tell you how awful I feel about the whole situation. I put great thought into what I wanted to get Sasha and Anthony. I got them a GC to target in case Anthony needed and necessities during his treatments. I also got them a GC to a nearby movie theatre so they could have a movie date. If Sasha ever ran late with errands, I got her a GC to Applebee's so she could pick up dinner and not have to worry about cooking. I even got Brooklyn a GC to petco because we all know he's family too.
It broke my heart to have to tell Sasha that this wonderful project that we all worked together on was ruined because of my ignorance. I cant apologize enough to you all. I can only ask for your forgiveness and pray that a miracle will happen.
Again Sasha, I'm so sorry for messing this up. But please know the 05 ladies had nothing but the best intentions for you both. The card that was also sent had many well wishes and it was filled with love.

Jenn, it breaks my heart to think that you have all this guilt. It wasn't your fault!! And honestly, I feel like I've received the greatest gift, and so does Anthony. We can't thank you all enough!!

I'm so sorry that the mail stinks, but that doesn't take away from the actions, from the generosity, from the kindess.

For that, we're extremely grateful!!

Diva, you rock for having the thoughtfulness and generosity to do all you did. Don't let the package getting lost in the mail take away from your heart.
