does anyone know a good Italian bakery (in the Long Island area) that makes those lobster tail pastries?

the only bakery on LI that I know AND like on LI is Cardinali is Syosset on Jackson ave (I think)
now I want a pastry....

don't know. am afraid to try it...it's like a drug....I'll be on a plane to ITaly if it doesn't quite hit the spot!
everything else is pretty good and authentic...though I would defer to JB06 on this subject, being really deal italiana..I am just a connoisseur of all this fattening

I just saw this. I am indeed the product of two of the boat-real deal eye-talians.
For lobster tails (which are sacred pastries to my papa), my father goes to either Arthur Avenue in the Bronx or he goes to a bakery on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon. Can't remember the name of the bakery right now. Want me to find out?

No idea what lobster tail pastries are, BUT when I lived on Martha's Vinyard, I worked at an ice cream shop where we mad eour own ice cream (and chocolates! And chocolate covered things... like oreos...and pinapple...and chocolate.)
Anyway- we had lobster icecream. No one ever bought it, but people would sample it. It was butter ice cream, with chunks of lobster in it.

Of course 
Butter ice cream sounds nasty, but it's like butter pecan. That part was yummy.
The lobster was weird because it was frozen.
