Do people get Monday July 6 off from work?(after Fri the 4th)
I was just wondering if July 4 is a Friday, do people also get the Monday off?

To my knowledge July 4th is celebrated strictly on that day. It is not a Monday Holiday due to its significance. The only way they would have off that Monday is if they had a really good boss!!! Hope this helps.

Do people get Monday July 6 off from work?(after Fri the 4th)
All the corporate clients I work with consider July 6 a regular work day. Since July 4 is a Thursday this year and July 4 is a Friday next year some clients are giving their staff the day before July 4 off- and some people are just taking the prior day off. Unfortunately the following Monday is a regular work day.
