I NEED SOMEONE TO BOOK MY CATERING HALL,WEDDING CALLED OFF.APRIL 15,2007
I HAD TO CALL OFF MY WEDDING IN SEPTEMBER,2006 AND THE CATERING HALL WILL NOT GIVE BACK MY DEPOSITS. NOT ONLY THAT, IF THE DATE DOES NOT GET TAKEN,I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR 75% OF WHATEVER OUR TOTAL WOULD HAVE BEEN!!!

Where is it and how long ago did you book...
I think suffolk has a law that forbids the company from holding more than $100
BTW...I'm really sorry to hear that...that really $ucks!!!!

I know Suffolk has a law, but I don't think Nassau does and I think I am boud to the contract. I told them that I was not allowed to have contact with ex(I have order of protection against him) and they do not care. I told them in September so they had plenty of notice.
By the way, how cute are you guys!!!! Congratulations and lots of luck. I see u r having trouble with catering halls let me know if I can help.

sounds like thats exactly what u need, a lawyer !!! i dont think they are allowed to hold you responsible for that much money!... i would def call and see what can be done sounds like that is completely unreasonable! Well anyway... im really sorry that you had to call it off  but good luck to you!!

must have been floral terrace or sandcastle since these two halls are the only ones i ever heard of doing that/// i lost $500 at floral terrace and i literally tried to cancel the wedding 6 daysafter i booked and my date wasnt for another 2 yrs.... they make me sick...
