Anyone order dresses from Davids Bridal?

I ordered from there but I haven't heard anything so I was wondering how long it usually takes. Do they call you when its in?

I called them and they said it would take a while to look so they would call me back. They never did.
I guess I'll just have to pop in there one day like you did. Thanks

I got my BM dresses from there, but I went to the one in Long Island City. The dresses came in within 4 weeks time (ordered in March, came in April) and they called me when they were in. As a matter of fact, I didn't go pick them up until the end of June and they did call me about a month after the first call to remind me that the dresses were in!!! I've read past posts, both here and the other wedding sites, about problems with the one in Carle Place, but I had a good experience with the one in LIC and would recommend it. And my sister brought her dress to the David's in Jersey by her to have it altered and she had no complaints with them either.

But then again, it's like any bridal salon, you can go to one and get some really nice people and you can go to another and get some real (rhymes with) witches!!! Unfortunately there are no guarantees when dealing with some of these places!! Good luck! :)

I'm sure everything will be fine!! Don't worry! Like everything else involved with wedding planning, you have no control over some things, so don't make yourself crazy over them!! Trust me, I've been there I know the feeling!!!!

I ordered a bm dress from the DB in Carle Place and it came in within a couple of weeks but I waited a month before I picked it up and there was no problem.

As soon as my last BM calls in her info their dresses will be ordered. After that they said it would take about 6 weeks for the store to get them and an additional week to ship them to the out of state girls. I would call them and ask them how long they will take once they have been ordered and then keep on top of them.
When I ordered a dress for my cousins wedding last year they never called her and when she went in for one of her fittings she asked them about the dresses and they check and guess what...they had been there for over a month! By the time my dress was shipped to me I had no time for alterations (good thing it didn't really need any although it would have been nice because I spent the whole night hicking the thing up)

I ordered my 6 BM dresses there last August. They arrived in 3 weeks (I was told it would take 4-6 weeks), and they called me when they came in. We had no problems at all.

My wedding wasn't until May, but we ordered early. Then in December, one of my BM found out she was pregnant, so by May she'd need a bigger dress. They let her exchange for a bigger size with no problems.

By the way, we used the Carle Place store and our consultant was Sara and she was very nice. I didn't get my dress there and they let my girls use the 15% coupon anyway.
