Any recommendations for flowers in Port Jeff area?
I need to find a florist for my September wedding and wondered if anybody had any suggestions of someone good...we are getting married at the Port Jeff Country Club, so anywhere in that vicinity would be fine...Thanks!

i am also getting married there and I used spitz and peck, but i have heard great things about sugar magnolias in Stony brook.

I have heard that Malkems (sp??) is wonderful. I got a recommendation for them from someone who used them last month and from the maitre'd at PJ country club, who is a friend's husband, so I trust his opinion. I think they are located in port jeff. I haven't booked a florist yet, but they will be the first I look at. Good Luck!

I second Sugar Magnolias! I didn't use them (my house florist gave me a deal I couldn't pass up) but I loved Heidi's work. I've heard nothing but great stuff about her -

I will be using James Cress Florist for my wedding in Oct. My family has been using them for years and both my aunt and my cousin used them for their weddings last year. I've heard they are a bit on the expensive side but you might want to check them out...

I got married Sept 02 and our reception was at the Meadow Club----we used Malkames and I loved my flowers. I tired to attach the pic of my cake with all the bridesmaids flowers surrounding it---but it's too big. If you would like me to send it to you---email me at jobomsawin@hotmail.com

I am using Spitz and Peck for my wedding. They have two offices, one in Cedarhurst and the other in Hungtington.
