Winter Wedding, Hot Pink & White

Does anyone have any ideas for me. We're planning a New Year's Eve wedding in the future. Just wanting some ideas.. The colors are going to be Hot pink & white.. I was maybe wanting white christmas trees w/hot pink ornaments in the church, but hadnt really planned anything else.. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! I know hot pink and winter dont really go together but hey.. they're going to have to! haha Thanks so much!

I would do hot pink confetti, sliver balloons, maybe give out little 2007 face glasses.

I don't have pictures but I have a few ideas.

Since it will be the winter, you can get away with more of an icy theme and throw the pink in to add some bright values without looking too much like Barbie's dream house.

You could use frosted votive holders and hot pink candles if you want to do candles. The frosted votives wont look pure stark white and add some elegance.

If you do traditional floral arrangnements there are tons of flowers that come in hot pink but I do not know whats in season. Just google your time of year and flowers and you'll find links of lists.

A centerpiece I have seen in a book called "the perfect wedding details" (FABULOUS book) is to take a manzanita branch which almost looks like a small bare tree and place it into a lighting fixture bottom and screw it in-almost like a lampp base. Then they used gold leaf on some of the branches for visual interest and glued with floral glue, beautiful half bloomed rose heads to the branches. It sounds weird but the effect is gorgeous.

If you went that kind of route, you could use the white snow cans to make them look wintry and then put maybe white or your hot pink roses on them to give it a very etheral ice princess look. They used real flowers but my best friend and I are considering doing a variation of them for her wedding and we'd be using silk because its at night and with all the candlelight you won't tell they are fakel. Also its in New Hampshire so we don't want to lugh all that stuff up there.

IMO I think thats the way to go otherwise I think the white and pink might look like Babrie's dream house.

Also hot pink rose petals would be good over almost any table surface-if you do the letters for your cake table, you could reverse the usual white with pink trim and make it pink with white trim to pop more especially if your tablecloths are white.
