MOH & Bridesmaids Dresses
What is everyone doing about dresses? Is your MOH's dress going to be different than your bridesmaids? Does it matter? I'm leaving it up to my girls to decide. Since so many designers make different styles in the same colors, I don't even mind if each girl has something different from the other. What are your opinions on this?
Thanks

Re: MOH & Bridesmaids Dresses
Hey Karen- My bridesmaids and MOH all have different dresses. They are Dessy/After Six and all the same colour. I've seen weddings with each girl in a different dress and it's really cool-almost like watching a fashion show. Plus, they get to decide what they feel most comfortable in. My MOH is wearing a different fabric-she has a velvet top and everyone else has satin. Hope this helps!

Re: MOH & Bridesmaids Dresses
I have 6 bridesmaids (including the MOH) and I let them all choose their own dress by Dessy/After Six as well. I chose the mfg, color and material. They had plenty of dresses to choose from. Like LeeLee, I have been to a wedding who did this and I was also in a wedding party who did this and love the idea. This way everyone can feel comfortable in the dress they are wearing. Some people look at me strange when I tell them I am doing this, but for the most part people think that it is a cool idea.
Out of the six, the girls chose 4 different dresses. So two sets of girls will be wearing the same dress. If they didn't care, neither do I. My MOH picked the same dress as one of the other girls...I figure maybe I can do something with the bouquet to make her a little different.

Re: MOH & Bridesmaids Dresses
I let my girls pick out there dress. I didn't really know what I wanted. I told them I wanted pink and that was it. They chose a few of them and I got the final say. Actually it was very easy and we ended up choosing the second one that they picked out. All the girls (but one)loved the dress.

Re: MOH & Bridesmaids Dresses
I didn't care...I left it up to them as well. I have 9 girls (one Maid and one Matron) and they are all wearing the same dress. I am having the Maid and Matron carry 5 calla lillies, and the BMs carry 3...
