Hi Girls, I'm a newbie (kind of)
I just wanted to introduce myself, since I have now re-joined the land of the engaged.
My name is Jess and my fiance Joe and I got engaged this past Saturday (10/28). It was a total shock, he got up onstage at the Hawthorne Hotel's (Salem, MA) Annual Costume Ball, with 2000 people watching, spotlights on him, grabbed the mic from the band and got down on one knee and proposed.
I totally froze and couldn't even get the word yes out...I just excitedly nodded my head and (I think) I said, "you know I will".
Anyway, I am an old bride from here who made the mistake of marrying the wrong man (not bad-just not right for me) because we already had a child together and wanted to "do the right thing" Well, it resulted in an almost instant divorce. Needless to say, this time it's the right man (the man of my dreams) and the perfect relationship, at least for me. This feels like a fairytale and I guess they do have happy endings
So, it's nice to meet you all and I look forward to many chats in the future. Happy Planning everyone.
