how long before your wedding did you order your dress?? im trying to figure out when i need to order my dress by if its in september 2007

I just ordered a regular collection dress from David's this morning - it is due in December 9th. But the dates change DAILY. So the sooner you order it the better. The consultant was origianlly telling me that it wouldn't come in until January at first and she did another search and it came up December. You also need to book your alterations 3 months in advance?!

thanks for the advice. i'm trying to lose 60 pounds by september so i didnt know when i should actually order the dress :-/ at first i was told to order the dress in march and then i went back and the woman said right away if i could. we'll see i guess.

THE FIRST ONE CAME BACK IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS... IM ON GOWN #2...AND IT HAD A STAIN ON IT SO THEY REORDERED THAT ..GOING ON WEEK THREE..WITH THE LATEST DATE BEING DEC 2O SOMETHING

I orded an oleg cassini dress from davids bridal last january and it came in within 3 weeks. I didn't even have the credit card statement yet, that's how fast it came.
I think you have the time to try and lose weight before ordering.

i ordered an oleg cassini dress in may for my july wedding. it came in 3 weeks. you have more than enough time since your wedding is so far away

i ordered my dress from davids and it came in 4 weeks (although they said 6-8 weeks) i too am loosing weight and the dress since i ordered has to be taken in some but i am gonna wait til marcj to start getting it altered ..
so to answer your question .. i def think you have time before you order....
