Outdoor Wedding
Hi Everyone,
I am recently engaged. I have always dreamed of a outdoor wedding. Perhaps at a vineyard. What is everyone's thought on a outdoor wedding do you like them? Also I am not set on a vineyard does anyone have any suggestions for scenic outdoor locations.
Any help will be greatly appreciated....It is slightly overwhelming at first. There are so many choices :)

I went to a beautiful outdoor wedding (w/out tents) in May at Westbury Manor.
I've seen outdoor tented wedding at the vineyards and at Tallgrass.

Theres the Crescent but I'm biased with that one ;)
When I was looking I stumbled upon the Vanderbilt Museum... Was actually looking for the Vanderbilt Mansion but gotta love Mapquest for leading me to the wrong place!! It was beautiful... Nice scenery and had an italian villa look to it - the area where the CH would be... the reception would be in a tent...
A lot of these places have a site fee.. some can get $$$...

I want an outdoor wedding! I plan to have the ceremony at my RH. The halls that I'm considering all have nice outdoor ceremony sites. Some with gardens and a gazebo.

outdoor weddings are fun!!
mine was a semi-outdoor wedding... we had tents. that is one of the few things i wouldn't have changed!!!!!

They are SO pretty, but you completely rely on the weather...so you never know...you could have an awesome day sunny and nice, or a horribly hot day with 100% humidity or it could pour...have it half and half, better safe than sorry

I'm also considering an outdoor tented wedding! I started that thread and the girls here have been SO helpful!
It seems like it can become pricey if your guest list is large but it's DOable! Good luck!

You guys have been so helpful. Thank you so much. I am sure I will have a ton more questions. We are leaning towards a vineyard. I really like Martha Clara and they have our date available. We will have the ceremony in a church but the reception will be at the vineyard. It looks like the cost can get up there but I am hoping that we can be creative with certain things and cut back on things.
