Re: NWR: online schools

i would suggest, if time and finances allow, physically GOING to school to finish your degree. ive beent old by employers that they do now view online and traditional degrees the same way. fair or not, im not sure. definately somthing to consider. i know a few schools (like LIU) offer some classes online...you could do a little of both but get the same consideration as a traditional degree.

I know Post Univeristy offers online degrees. I dont know how employees view BAs, but for Grad school, employers do not view them differently and i know a ton of people who are getting their Masters via online degrees.

Re: NWR: online schools

If you take distance learning from a established college near you it looks better MUCH better then a store purchased degree from a ONLINE only institution. Plus you should take at least one class in person w/ the distance learning it just looks better. You do get more out of it.

I used to work full time go part time nights and i was fine for three semesters before i burned out. I now switched to days for school and work part time. I have to get a second job to get more money on nights and weekends though.. just got one semester left for my BA though.

They offer many sat classes depending on ur major too. I would do it but i only have design classes left

Good luck

I am getting my masters from Stony Brook online. If you get your degree from an accredited university that has an actual campus, there is no way a potential employer would know if you took classes on line or in an actual classroom

Re: NWR: online schools

not really in reference to online or not, but you can take tests that *most* (not all, check with your school) will take as credits for a lot of your basics (liberal arts and some languages, i believe). they're not classes, but count as credits so they lessen the amount of time needed for a degree anyways.

as i said, check with your school first.

good luck. =0P
