EVERYTHING can go wrong.... and you can still love your wedding... hi, i'm back...
i hope there's still some love here for a girl who has been married for....

you might laugh, but i SERIOUSLY missed you women!!!!
now... if you've EVER thought that it can't get any worse... remember IT CAN. it did to me 
* my caterer bailed 25 days b4 wedding
* band bailed 6 days b4 wedding
* new caterer f$#%ed me over bc they knew i was
in a pinch
* photographer was an hour late
* new dj was an hour late
* dj didn't have the "important" songs (which he
promised he did)
* it rained the morning of
* i almost fainted
* my mother told me that i had brought all the bad
luck upon myself
* my dad gave me the wrong flight info and he
was stuck in the airport for about three hours
* when i went to get my nails done... the lady did
them wrong and made me cry... i had to pay to
have them re-done in another place
* my bach party was the night b4 and i was hung
over
* as fh (at the time) tried to take last-minute items
AND HIMSELF to rh, THERE WAS A PARADE ON
OUR STREET AND THE COP TOLD HIM HE
WOULD HAVE TO WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
* the caterer FORGOT TO MENTION THAT HE
COULDN'T GET THE VODKA FOR THE
SIGNATURE DRINK
* someone forgot to bring out the cake knife, so i
had to use a LONG SERATED KITCHEN KNIFE
* dinner ended up being buffet instead of sitdown,
like the caterer promised
* the servers tried to dismantle tables and chairs
before the party was OVER
..... WITH ALL OF THIS GOING ON.... MY WEDDING IS STILL THE SECOND BEST DAY OF MY LIFE (besides the day my son was born). AND FUNNY ENOUGH, I HAD MY DREAM WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it stopped raining right before the ceremony, the sun was GORGEOUS!!!!! i was NOT nervous at all... i wanted to laugh during the ceremony, fh (at the time) had his tie on BACKWARDS... too funny.
my moh knew how crappy i felt that so much had fallen apart, that she would constantly come back to me with reports.... "people are fighting over which flavor of cake is BETTER than the other".... "the girl in red just mentioned how she loved the decorations"... she was my saving grace.
in the end, i married the man i love. my son loves him too. my ENTIRE family was with me. I DANCED WITH MY FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
while in the middle of the disater before the ceremony, when i thought i wanted to run away... my ring bearer walked into the "bridal room," looked up at me, and said, "you look like Cinderella." THERE WAS NOT ONE DRY EYE IN THE ROOM!
the final detail i'd like to share.... when i was 13, one of my bm got married. i always remembered that being the "best wedding" i had ever been to. we were all together, happy, and dancing silly 80s music. i have dreamed of my wedding being a fraction of that day and couldn't imagine how it could be possible to duplicate a "feeling."
at about 9pm on my wedding day... my cousins (who are like sisters to me), my sister, and i were all dancing around... and on queue, the dj played the same silly 80s songs that we danced at laura's wedding. at that moment, i had my dream come true. you have no idea how that felt. IT HAPPENED!!! i had the wedding i dreamed of for so many years.
i know i've forgotten things. i'll do my best to mention them with my review.

Welcome back and of course you were missed as well.
Sorry to hear that you had some many issues regarding your wedding, however, I am glad that everything worked out and you enjoyed the day!

i'm so glad to be back.
the only pics i have, are those my mom took with a disposible camera. i'm going to have to take pics of them with my digi cam (no scanner)... i'll do my best to post tonight.
btw, honeymoon was so much fun!!!! even with the motion sickness ... my mom joked that i must already be preggo.... NOT YET said dh

I have to say that it sounds like you're a strong woman and you took everything in stride. A party is what you make of it and it sounds as though everyone who was there made it alot of fun!
I'm glad you had a nice time on your HM. I'm sure you needed it after all the mishaps with the wedding!!!
